How an inspection runs here

01

Walk in or call ahead

Walk-ins are welcome for inspections. Calling first just means we can tell you what the day looks like before you drive over.

02

The inspection

We work through the vehicle and record what we find rather than reading off a checklist and handing back a sheet.

03

You get the findings

If something needs attention we explain what it is, whether it affects the result, and what it would take to put right.

04

Repairs if you want them

A vehicle that does not pass can be diagnosed and repaired here. You are not sent somewhere else and back again.

If the vehicle needs work, you hear what and why before anything is done about it.

What Our Customers Say on Google

Inspection questions we get asked

What does my vehicle actually need in Dallas County?

Requirements differ between passenger and commercial vehicles, and they have changed in recent years. Call 214-821-5052 with your vehicle and we will tell you what applies to it rather than guessing from a generic checklist.

What happens if my vehicle does not pass?

We are a full repair shop, so the diagnosis and the repair happen here. You are not sent to a second location and back again, and we explain what failed and why before any work starts.

Do you inspect rideshare vehicles for Uber and Lyft?

Yes. We handle transportation for hire inspections for Uber, Lyft and other rideshare drivers alongside regular vehicle inspections.

Do you do pre purchase inspections?

Yes. If you are buying a used vehicle we will inspect it independently and write down what we find. It is one of the cheapest ways to avoid an expensive mistake, particularly on European vehicles.

Do you inspect commercial vehicles and fleets?

Yes. Commercial vehicle inspections and DOT compliance support are handled on the fleet side of the business, including inspection programs for operators running multiple vehicles.

Do I need an appointment for an inspection?

No. Walk-ins are welcome for inspections. If you would rather know what the schedule looks like before driving over, call 214-821-5052.

Where are you located?

4020 Main St, Dallas TX 75226, in Downtown Dallas near Main Street and Haskell Avenue. Open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Need your vehicle inspected?

Call and tell us what you drive. We will tell you what it needs and when we can take it.
