Brake repair in Dallas, TX
Most brake quotes are written before anyone has measured anything. Ours are written after. We pull the wheels, measure the pads and rotors, look at the calipers and the fluid, and then tell you which parts are actually worn and which ones have life left. Sometimes that is a smaller job than you expected.
What we work on
Full brake system service on passenger, European, and commercial vehicles, from pads and rotors through hydraulics and ABS faults.

How a brake job runs here
Tell us what it is doing
A grind, a squeal, a soft pedal and a pull all point at different things. What you noticed narrows it down before the vehicle arrives.
Wheels off, measurements taken
We measure pad and rotor thickness and inspect the calipers, lines and fluid rather than estimating wear from the outside.
You see what we found
We explain which parts are actually worn, which are fine, and what the safe interval looks like if something can wait.
Approved work only
Nothing is replaced until you say so. If a rotor can be left alone this visit, we will tell you that.
You see the measurements before you approve the work, not after the invoice.

What Our Customers Say on Google
Brake questions we get asked
How do I know my brakes need work?
Common signs are grinding or squealing, a pedal that feels soft or travels further than it used to, vibration when slowing down, or the vehicle pulling to one side under braking. A dashboard brake warning is worth acting on quickly. If you are unsure, call and describe it.
Do I need to replace rotors every time I replace pads?
Not always. It depends on the thickness left on the rotor and its condition. We measure them and tell you what the numbers say. If the rotors are serviceable we will tell you that rather than selling you a pair you do not need.
Can you work on European brake systems?
Yes. ESS started as European Specialty Service in 1995. European braking and electronic stability systems are routine work here, not an exception.
Do you service brakes on commercial vehicles and trucks?
Yes. We service brakes on Sprinter vans, light commercial vehicles and medium and heavy duty trucks alongside passenger vehicles.
How long does brake work take?
It depends on the vehicle and what the inspection finds. Call 214-821-5052 with your vehicle and we will give you a realistic answer rather than a number that sounds good on the phone.
Where are you located?
4020 Main St, Dallas TX 75226, in Downtown Dallas near Main Street and Haskell Avenue. Open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Something changed in how it stops?
Call and describe it. We will tell you whether it needs looking at today or whether it can wait.
