Car AC and Heating Repair in Dallas, TX
In a Dallas summer, air conditioning is not a comfort feature. We find why it stopped working instead of refilling it and hoping.

Car AC repair in Dallas, TX
A refrigerant top up is the most commonly sold AC repair in Texas and the least likely to last. Refrigerant does not get used up. If the system is low, it went somewhere, and it will go there again. We test the system, find where it is leaving, and tell you what it takes to fix it once.
What we work on
Cooling and heating are the same job to us. Both systems are diagnosed properly rather than treated as a refill.

How we approach an AC fault
Describe what changed
Blowing warm, blowing weak, working only at speed, or smelling wrong all point in different directions.
Find the actual fault
We test pressures and look for leaks rather than topping the system up and sending you out. Refrigerant that left once will leave again.
You see the diagnosis
We explain what failed, what it takes to fix properly, and whether anything else in the system is close behind it.
Repair and verify
After the repair we test the system again so you leave knowing it works, not hoping it does.
The system is tested before the repair and again after it, so you leave knowing where you stand.

What Our Customers Say on Google
AC and heating questions we get asked
My AC blows warm. What is usually wrong?
Most often the system has lost refrigerant through a leak, but a failed compressor, a blocked condenser, a blend door fault or an electrical problem all produce the same symptom. The only way to know is to test the system. That is where we start.
Can you just recharge my AC?
We can, but a system that is low has usually lost refrigerant somewhere, and a recharge without finding the leak buys you weeks rather than years. We would rather find the leak first and tell you what fixing it properly costs.
Do you work on European climate control systems?
Yes. ESS started as European Specialty Service in 1995. European climate control is routine work here, including the electronic controls that make these systems harder to diagnose than older ones.
My heater is not working. Is that the same system?
It shares parts of it. Heater cores, blower motors, blend doors and climate controls all sit in the same area, and we diagnose heating faults the same way we diagnose cooling ones.
When should I get my AC looked at?
Before you need it. A Dallas summer is a bad time to discover the compressor failed, and shops are busiest exactly when everyone finds out at once. If the system felt weak last year, spring is the time to deal with it.
